ஹைதராபாத்தில் உள்ள காச்சிகுடா ரயில் நிலையத்தில், நகர்ந்து கொண்டிருந்த ரயிலில் குழந்தையைத் தூக்கிக்கொண்டு ஏற முயன்றபோது தவறி விழுந்த தந்தையையும் அவரது சிறு பெண் குழந்தையையும், அங்குப் பணியிலிருந்த ரயில்வே பாதுகாப்புப் படை (RPF) பெண் காவலர் மின்னல் வேகத்தில் செயல்பட்டு உயிரைக் காப்பாற்றிய சம்பவம் பெரும் நெகிழ்ச்சியையும் பாராட்டையும் பெற்றுள்ளது.

காச்சிகுடா ரயில் நிலையத்தின் நடைமேடை எண் 1-ல் அக். 12 அன்று மாலை 6 மணியளவில் இச்சம்பவம் நிகழ்ந்துள்ளது. விசாகா எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் (Visakha Express) ரயில் நிலையத்தை விட்டு மெதுவாக நகரத் தொடங்கியபோது, பயணி ஒருவர் தனது சிறு பெண் குழந்தையைக் கையில் ஏந்தியபடி ஓடும் ரயிலில் ஏற முயன்றுள்ளார்.

அப்போது அங்குப் பணியில் இருந்த ஆர்பிஎஃப் பெண் காவலர் ரீனா குமாரி (Constable Reena Kumari), ஓடும் ரயிலில் ஏற வேண்டாம் என அவரை எச்சரித்துள்ளார். இருப்பினும், அவசரத்தில் ரயிலில் ஏற முயன்ற அந்தப் பயணி, எதிர்பாராதவிதமாகச் சமநிலையை இழந்து தண்டவாளத்திற்கும் நடைமேடைக்கும் இடையிலான ஆபத்தான இடைவெளியில் குழந்தையோடு நழுவி விழப் பார்த்தார்.

இதைக் கண்டு சற்றும் தாமதிக்காத பெண் காவலர் ரீனா குமாரி, உடனடியாகப் பாய்ந்து சென்று அந்த நபரையும் அவரது குழந்தையையும் தண்டவாள இடைவெளிக்குள் விழாதவாறு சுதாரித்து பலமாகப் பின்னோக்கி இழுத்துக் காப்பாற்றினார். அதே நேரத்தில், இதை கவனித்த ரயிலின் ஓட்டுநரும் (Loco Pilot) உடனடியாக அவசர காலப் பிரேக்கை (Emergency Brakes) பயன்படுத்தி ரயிலை நிறுத்தினார்.

இதையடுத்து, அந்தப் பயணி தனது மனைவி மற்றும் மகளுடன் பத்திரமாக ரயிலில் ஏறித் தனது பயணத்தைத் தொடர்ந்தார்.

However, in a hurry, he attempted to board it and suddenly lost his balance, placing himself and his daughter at risk of falling into the gap between the train and the platform. Reacting swiftly, Constable Reena Kumari immediately pulled the man and his daughter away from danger, preventing a possible tragedy. The loco pilot also applied the emergency brakes, bringing the train to a halt. Following the incident, the man safely boarded the train along with his wife and daughter. The timely action and presence of mind displayed by RPF Constable Reena Kumari have been appreciated, highlighting the importance of alert railway personnel in ensuring passenger safety.
